A Modern Real Estate Office
Our vision for this space was to create a place which represents our client's personal style and values. Finding the perfect balance between professional space as well as a place where one can relax. Managing to complete the project within timeline, these photographs were taken right on the 'hawan' morning.
Design Specifications
We had an initial idea of blending the sharp clean lines along with a subtle hint of curve, flow and softness. Another feature we designed was a custom false ceiling plan with two different heights and a slope at the edges to give the design an open look. we painted the ceiling with the same colour as the walls to bring cohesion in the design and expand the visual size.
Colour Scheme
The design consisted of a very unique accent feature-THE FLOOR! Giving the floors a dark emerald green colour was a striking addition. Beige, Gold & Brass tones, Walnut stain for the furniture and slight hints of natural teak colour brought the whole look together.
Client's Instructions
The Client had two specifications for us- they wanted a sofa-cum-bed for times they wanted to relax and a small corner for lighting a Diya everyday. We came up with the idea of creating some floating shelves right in front of the office table in the N-E corner which hides away in the L-shape office, creating a perfect personal nook for them to bond with their beliefs. Procurement of materials and fabric selection is undoubtedly one of the best parts of interior designing. Our goal was to bring materials that would withstand the test of time and high traffic area such as a real estate office. As we needed lighter tones to complement the strong green in the floors and natural walnut wood stain, we made sure to get materials that were easily washable and do not get dirty as easy.
Cohesion
Final stages brought us to decorating the space with final touches. Strategically placed greens, ceramic, glass and metal finish products were added to the space to enhance the details of design. We worked day and night to bring this project to its final stage within the deadline.
